Tour Itinerary
Madam Phuong’s Banh Mi
Our first stop is the famous Banh Mi Phuong, where you will try one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in Vietnam.
Crispy baguette, flavorful fillings, fresh herbs, and homemade sauces make this a must-try street food experience.
Hoi An Central Market & Cao Lau
We then ride to Hoi An Central Market, located on the bank of the Thu Bon River.
Here, you will enjoy “Cao Lau” noodles with authentic local flavor a specialty found only in Hoi An.
Hidden Alley & Local House Visit
Next, we pass through a small alley and stop at a local business house to see what real Vietnamese daily life looks like.
Here, you will discover “Banh Beo” a traditional Vietnamese steamed rice cake and a popular snack among Hoi An locals. You will also have the opportunity to talk with the shop owner and take photos.
Oldest Pagoda & Countryside Ride
Afterwards, it’s time to relax as our Vespa team takes you to one of the oldest pagodas in Hoi An, a peaceful place that few tourists know about.
We then enjoy a lovely ride through the countryside, where you can see farmers working in the rice paddies before continuing to our next stop.
Banh Khot & Food Challenge
We stop at a famous street vendor near Hoai Square to try “Banh Khot” round pancakes made with rice flour, turmeric, coconut milk, quail egg, and vegetables.
Next, you may take on the food challenge: “Balut” (fertilized duck egg), often listed among the Top 10 weird foods in the world. It is not about the taste, but rather its unique appearance.
Riverside Dinner – “Nhau” Style
We then head to a local restaurant by the river to enjoy a special dinner and discover a part of Vietnamese culture known as “Nhau” gathering together with cold beer and delicious food.
